CAD Support Specialist - Drafting in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is a Construction opportunity with Parsons Corporation for a detail-oriented technical drafting professional experienced in 2D drawings, 3D models, CAD documentation, BIM model updates, drawing revisions, file control, and multidisciplinary design support. This role supports infrastructure, transportation, rail, and construction projects by producing accurate drawings and models from sketches, markups, verbal instructions, and existing project documentation while maintaining compliance with project standards and quality requirements.

• Create 2D drawings, layouts, and detailed 3D models from sketches, verbal instructions, markups, and existing design documentation.
• Work closely with architects, engineers, designers, and project team members to understand requirements and develop accurate technical drawings.
• Review and verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance with project standards, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Maintain project documentation, CAD drawings, BIM models, technical records, and design files with proper version control and retrieval practices.
• Apply drafting standards, engineering conventions, mathematical principles, geometric rules, and design requirements in technical deliverables.
• Prepare, update, revise, and coordinate CAD drawings and BIM models throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support consistency and integration across architectural, structural, civil, MEP, infrastructure, and construction disciplines.
• Support resolution of design, drafting, documentation, and coordination issues by working with internal teams, service providers, and stakeholders.
• Maintain project records and provide regular status updates on assigned drafting tasks, drawing packages, model updates, and deliverables.
• Ensure all assigned outputs comply with project procedures, CAD standards, BIM requirements, document control rules, and quality expectations.
• Monitor and manage assigned tasks while adapting to changing priorities in a dynamic project environment.
• Support project teams with technical documentation, drawing revisions, file organization, model updates, and related drafting activities.
• Review markups and incorporate design changes accurately into drawings and models.
• Maintain organized drawing registers, revision histories, source files, and issued deliverables.
• Perform additional CAD, BIM, drafting, and documentation responsibilities as assigned to support project delivery.

• High School Diploma with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in CAD drafting, BIM drafting, technical design support, or a related field.
• Proficiency in industry-standard CAD and BIM software, including AutoCAD, Revit, and Solid Works.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, complete, and high-quality drawings and models.
• Good understanding of engineering drafting standards, technical documentation, drawing conventions, and design principles.
• Strong mathematical, geometric, technical coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read, interpret, and apply complex engineering drawings, specifications, markups, and technical documents.
• Experience managing drawing revisions, document control, project file organization, and version control.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Autodesk Certified Professional certification is preferred.
• Experience on infrastructure, transportation, rail, or construction projects is advantageous.
• Knowledge of BIM workflows, model coordination, multidisciplinary design environments, and digital collaboration practices is preferred.
