Development Studio Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Development Studio Specialist to support the creation of development concepts, feasibility studies, planning options, and executive decision-making materials. This role combines technical production, visualization, and development support, helping transform strategic ideas into clear, accurate, and visually compelling outputs. The successful candidate will work closely with development, technical, investment, and design teams to prepare concept studies, area analyses, visualizations, and presentation materials that support real estate development projects from inception.

• Prepare CAD and BIM drawings, massing models, test fits, layouts, diagrams, and concept studies.
• Develop technical graphics and planning materials to support development evaluations and project planning.
• Assist in the preparation of concept options and spatial development scenarios.
• Support the production of feasibility and development planning studies.

• Prepare and maintain area schedules, including GFA, NLA, BUA, parking counts, efficiency ratios, and unit schedules.
• Support highest and best use (HBU) studies and development brief preparation.
• Assist in evaluating development options through technical and spatial analysis.
• Identify potential issues related to space planning, circulation, access, parking, servicing, and constructability.

• Produce high-quality visualizations, concept imagery, presentation graphics, and executive materials.
• Support the preparation of development presentations, option studies, and decision-support packages.
• Utilize AI-assisted visualization tools and digital design technologies to enhance concept communication.
• Ensure presentation materials are clear, accurate, and aligned with project objectives.

• Coordinate with Development Studio leadership, Development Managers, Technical Teams, and external consultants.
• Maintain drawing registers, file structures, version control, and documentation standards.
• Ensure technical outputs are accurate, well-organized, and delivered within agreed timelines.
• Support continuous improvement of studio processes and digital workflows.

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, BIM, Design Technology, Urban Design, or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of experience in architectural production, BIM, CAD, visualization, concept design support, or development planning.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite, and BIM workflows.
• Experience producing development studies, concept visuals, area analyses, and technical presentations.
• Familiarity with AI visualization tools and emerging digital design technologies is highly desirable.
