- Public Realm Development in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for a site-based Construction opportunity supporting a major development in Diriyah. The program covers iconic and neighborhood parks, public open spaces, and more than 55 kilometers of streetscape designed to improve accessibility, livability, and community well-being. The BIM Coordinator will review contractor models, identify design conflicts, coordinate technical resolutions, and prepare visual reports covering multiple public‑realm disciplines.
This role requires extensive BIM and CAD experience, strong workshop leadership, and the ability to communicate complex design issues clearly to engineering, planning, and construction stakeholders.

Role ContextThis public‑realm program brings together buildings, streetscapes, parks, landscaping, lighting, signage, and infrastructure within one coordinated development. Accurate BIM management is essential to prevent clashes, control design interfaces, and ensure that contractor submissions meet project and construction requirements. The coordinator will connect digital design information with site delivery by reviewing models, leading coordination discussions, and tracking technical issues through resolution. Clear reporting and timely escalation will help reduce rework, protect the construction schedule, and maintain design quality across the program.
Key Responsibilities- Review CAD drawings and BIM models submitted by contractors, consultants, and other project parties.
- Verify that models and drawings comply with project requirements, design standards, and agreed information protocols.
- Identify clashes, conflicts, missing information, constructability concerns, and coordination issues.
- Record review comments and communicate the required corrective actions to responsible parties.
- Chair BIM coordination workshops and present model issues using clear graphics and technical evidence.
- Work with contractors, designers, engineers, and planners to develop practical resolutions.
- Escalate unresolved or high‑impact design matters for management decisions.
- Prepare written and graphical reports covering site design, buildings, streetscapes, signage, landscaping, and lighting.
- Produce technical presentations for project meetings, design reviews, and management updates.
- Review contractor proposals and provide coordinated technical comments.
- Advise project stakeholders on relevant design and BIM matters.
- Support engineering and planning teams in resolving multidisciplinary design interfaces.
- Prepare technical scopes of work for assignments undertaken by design engineers.
- Monitor BIM deliverables against the contract program and identify potential schedule impacts.
- Prepare periodic progress reports covering BIM activities, submissions, issues, and resolutions.
- Complete related tasks assigned by the Senior Resident Engineer or Technical Manager.
- Bachelor 's degree in Engineering or a closely related field.
- Minimum eight years of relevant BIM, CAD, engineering design, or construction-coordination experience.
- Practical experience reviewing multidisciplinary BIM models and contractor submissions.
- Thorough knowledge of current BIM technology, CAD production, and engineering software.
- Ability to identify and communicate design clashes and technical inconsistencies.
- Familiarity with construction practices, engineering regulations, and industry standards.
- Experience supporting public-realm, infrastructure, landscape, or streetscape projects would be beneficial.
- Potential to perform in a lead coordination capacity.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and workshop-facilitation skills.
