The Landscape Architect will shape outdoor spaces that respond to design objectives while addressing the practical realities of Riyadh 's climate, water availability, soil conditions, and long-term maintenance requirements. The role combines creative landscape planning with technical design, environmental analysis, and construction coordination. A key part of the position is balancing aesthetics with performance. Plant selection, hardscape design, grading, drainage, and irrigation must work together to create environments that remain functional, durable, and resource-efficient under demanding regional conditions.

The Landscape Architect will also coordinate closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and specialist consultants. Through clear drawings, specifications, visualizations, and site reviews, the role will help convert design concepts into coordinated and buildable landscape solutions.

• Assess project sites to understand topography, existing vegetation, soil characteristics, and environmental constraints.
• Evaluate climate conditions relevant to landscape performance in Riyadh.
• Develop landscape design concepts aligned with client objectives and overall project vision.
• Prepare comprehensive landscape master plans for commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments.
• Translate design concepts into coordinated technical landscape packages.
• Produce detailed drawings using CAD and specialist landscape design software.
• Prepare planting plans, hardscape layouts, grading information, and construction details.
• Develop technical specifications for landscape materials and installation requirements.
• Select plant species appropriate for Saudi Arabia 's arid climate.
• Evaluate vegetation based on water demand, durability, maintenance, and visual character.
