The Architect will take ownership of architectural design development across multiple project stages, ensuring that design intent is translated into technically complete and buildable solutions. The position requires close control of drawings, specifications, interfaces, authority requirements, and design quality as projects move from concept into detailed design and construction. A major responsibility is coordinating architecture with structural, MEP, fire safety, accessibility, and landscape disciplines.

Early identification of conflicts and disciplined management of design interfaces will help reduce rework, improve constructability, and protect project schedules. The role will also act as a technical link between design teams, authorities, contractors, and project management. Through structured design reviews, value engineering, risk management, and timely responses to technical queries, the Architect will help maintain quality while supporting cost, compliance, and delivery objectives.

• Lead architectural design development from concept through preliminary, detailed, and construction-ready stages.
• Review architectural deliverables for completeness, coordination, and compliance with project requirements.
• Ensure design solutions conform to Saudi Building Code requirements and applicable municipal regulations.
• Coordinate architectural design with structural engineering, MEP systems, fire safety, accessibility, and landscape packages.
• Manage design interfaces to identify and eliminate clashes before construction.
• Review architectural drawings, specifications, calculations, and supporting technical documents.
• Provide technical input into project cost estimates and design-related commercial decisions.
• Evaluate design solutions for constructability, functionality, maintainability, and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design reviews and follow up on outstanding technical actions.
• Lead resolution of architectural and building system conflicts.
• Review and respond to comments from municipal and regulatory authorities.
• Track authority review comments through formal closure.
• Liaise with local authorities and relevant approval bodies during design development.
• Support preparation and review of authority submissions, permits, and approval packages.
• Confirm that building safety and accessibility requirements are properly incorporated into design documentation.
• Apply sustainable design principles where relevant to project objectives.
• Participate in design workshops, technical coordination meetings, and value engineering sessions.
• Identify architectural design risks and recommend practical mitigation measures.
• Develop cost-effective design solutions without compromising technical quality or compliance.
• Support tender-stage activities by responding to bidder queries and technical clarifications.
