Senior Architect

We are seeking an experienced Senior Architect with strong experience in building construction and fit-out projects, particularly 5-star hotels and luxury hospitality developments. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing architectural works, coordinating with consultants and subcontractors, and ensuring that construction is executed in accordance with approved designs, specifications, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise architectural works throughout the construction and fit-out phases.
• Review and coordinate architectural drawings, shop drawings, and technical submissions.
• Coordinate architectural works with structural, MEP, interior design, and other disciplines.
• Review construction drawings and ensure compliance with approved design and project specifications.
• Monitor site execution to ensure architectural works meet required quality, design, and finishing standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to resolve technical issues.
• Review and approve materials, samples, mock-ups, and method statements related to architectural works.
• Monitor progress of architectural and fit-out activities and identify potential delays or technical issues.
• Ensure proper implementation of hotel finishes, interiors, partitions, ceilings, flooring, doors, joinery, and other architectural elements.
• Review RFIs, technical queries, and design changes and coordinate necessary approvals.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Support the project team in achieving quality, schedule, and project objectives.
• Ensure proper preparation and completion of as-built drawings and handover documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in architecture.
• 12+ years of relevant experience in architectural construction.
• Mandatory experience in building construction and fit-out projects.
• Strong experience in 5-star hotels, luxury hospitality, high-end buildings, or similar projects.
• Experience with Tier 1 main contractors is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of architectural construction details, materials, and finishing works.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit/BIM is an advantage.
• Strong experience in coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Good understanding of construction specifications, drawings, quality requirements, and project standards.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines.
