Role Context The Architect will provide technical and design leadership across the building project lifecycle, translating architectural concepts into coordinated, compliant, and constructible solutions. The position requires close control of interfaces between architecture, structure, MEP systems, fire safety, accessibility, and landscape design. Through disciplined design management and direct engagement with Saudi authorities, the role will help secure approvals, reduce design conflicts, control technical risk, and maintain continuity between design intent and completed construction.

• Lead architectural design development from initial concepts through preliminary, detailed, construction-ready, and implementation stages.
• Review architectural drawings, specifications, schedules, calculations, and other technical deliverables for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure building designs comply with Saudi Building Code, municipal regulations, authority requirements, and applicable international standards.
• Coordinate architectural requirements with structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire and life safety, accessibility, and landscape disciplines.
• Manage critical design interfaces and resolve clashes before they create construction delays or costly rework.
• Use BIM-based coordination processes to improve multidisciplinary design integration and constructability.
• Review design calculations, technical specifications, material requirements, and cost information relevant to architectural packages.
• Liaise with municipal authorities, building departments, and other approving entities throughout design review and permitting.
• Prepare and coordinate authority submissions, permits, supporting documentation, and responses to review comments.
• Track authority comments through formal resolution and verify their incorporation into revised design packages.
• Participate in design reviews, coordination meetings, technical workshops, and value engineering sessions.
• Identify architectural and multidisciplinary design risks and establish practical mitigation strategies.
• Develop cost-conscious solutions that maintain architectural quality, regulatory compliance, functionality, and constructability.
• Apply building safety, accessibility, and sustainable design requirements throughout design development.
• Support tender activities by preparing clarifications, reviewing technical queries, and contributing to design-related addenda.
• Provide construction-stage architectural support and respond to requests for information, proposed changes, and technical queries.
• Evaluate design modifications during construction and protect the integrity of approved architectural requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, engineers, client representatives, and project management teams on technical matters.
• Mentor junior architects and provide technical direction to maintain consistent quality across architectural deliverables.
• Maintain design records in accordance with Design Management Plans, document control procedures, and quality assurance requirements.
• Support preparation and verification of as-built drawings and final design closeout documentation.
