Responsible for the technical review, supervision, and coordination of architectural works for ensuring compliance with approved IFC drawings, project specifications, quality requirements, and applicable codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities- Review architectural IFC drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical submissions.
- Supervise architectural and finishing works and verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and materials.
- Review architectural mock-ups, finishes, samples, and workmanship.
- Coordinate architectural works with structural, MEP, landscape, interior, façade, and other disciplines.
- Review RFIs and resolve design, constructability, interface, and site-related technical issues.
- Conduct site inspections and review WIRs/MIRs and relevant inspection requests.
- Monitor contractor performance, progress, quality, and compliance with project requirements.
- Identify design discrepancies and multidisciplinary clashes and recommend practical technical solutions.
- Review NCRs and verify corrective actions.
- Participate in technical, progress, and coordination meetings.
- Review as-built drawings, snagging/punch lists, and close-out documentation.
- Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant Engineering discipline from a recognized university.
- Minimum 10 years of overall relevant professional experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with a Consultant / PMC organization.
- Strong technical background in the relevant discipline, with proven ability to review designs, drawings, specifications, calculations, technical submittals, and resolve complex technical issues.
- Strong experience in design review, construction supervision, technical coordination, site execution, quality control, and contractor management.
- Strong knowledge of Saudi Building Code (SBC) and relevant international codes and standards.
- Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) in the appropriate professional classification.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, coordination, and technical reporting skills.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
