Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and review architectural and finishing drawings with the main contractor, subcontractors, consultants, and internal design teams.
Review site conditions, identify discrepancies between drawings and actual site conditions, and coordinate necessary solutions.
Manage strong RFI strong technical queries shop drawings material submissions and design changes.
Review and coordinate architectural, structural, MEP and finishing works to identify and resolve technical clashes.
Review shop drawings, material samples, and technical submissions to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Participate in site inspections, technical meetings, weekly meetings and coordination meetings.
Follow up on technical issues and ensure timely closure of RFIs and site observations.
Coordinate with overseas design teams and project stakeholders regarding design revisions and technical matters.
Maintain project technical documentation including RFIs, drawings, material approvals, meeting minutes, and site records.
Ensure architectural and finishing works comply with approved drawings, specifications, SBC, IBC, BS standards, and project requirements.
QualificationsBachelor's degree or above in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years of experience in the Gulf region in detailed design, shop drawing, or construction drawing management.
Experience in building construction and finishing works.
Familiarity with Saudi Building Code (SBC), IBC, BS standards, and relevant construction requirements.
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
Strong experience in shop drawings, RFI management, technical coordination, and design changes.
SCE registration is preferred.
Experience in major projects such as NEOM, Red Sea, Qiddiya, or other mega projects is highly preferred.
Strong English communication and technical coordination skills.
Candidates currently in Saudi Arabia with a transferable Iqama are preferred.
