A well-known company in Saudi Arabia is urgently seeking an experienced Architectural Technical Office Engineer to join its team and lead the preparation of architectural technical documentation for large-scale projects.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in architectural technical office operations and shop drawing production, with advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD. The role requires close coordination with structural and MEP disciplines to resolve design clashes, prepare construction drawings, manage consultant submissions, and ensure documentation aligns with project standards and actual site conditions.

Candidates should have at least 10 years of relevant experience, strong architectural detailing knowledge, familiarity with the Saudi Building Code (SBC), and valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership.

• Prepare, review, and issue comprehensive architectural shop drawings, including plans, sections, elevations, wall types, finishes, ceilings, flooring, doors, windows, joinery, staircases, wet areas, facades, and cladding.
• Develop detailed construction drawings in coordination with structural and MEP disciplines.
• Identify and resolve design clashes before drawing submission.
• Develop and manage architectural models in Revit.
• Produce drawing sets in accordance with project standards.
• Prepare technical submittals and respond to consultant comments until approval.
• Prepare Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings and specifications.
• Prepare as-built drawings and support quantity take-offs for the commercial team.
• Coordinate with site teams to ensure drawings reflect actual site conditions.

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in architectural technical office or shop drawing roles.
• Proven experience working on large-scale and major projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Navisworks knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of architectural detailing, materials, and construction methods.
• Familiarity with the Saudi Building Code (SBC).
• Understanding of consultant submission and approval procedures.
• Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) membership is required.
• Good written and spoken English.
