The Consultant Dermatologist will take responsibility for patients requiring specialist evaluation and ongoing management of dermatological conditions. Clinical work will span initial assessment, diagnosis, treatment selection, appropriate procedures, patient education, and structured follow-up. By combining diagnostic expertise with individualized treatment strategies, the Consultant will help improve clinical outcomes and continuity of care for patients with routine, persistent, or complicated dermatological presentations.

Collaboration with other medical disciplines will support coordinated management when conditions require broader specialist involvement.

• Evaluate patients presenting with a diverse range of dermatological symptoms and conditions.
• Obtain relevant clinical histories and perform detailed dermatological examinations.
• Diagnose common, chronic, recurrent, and complex skin disorders.
• Formulate appropriate differential diagnoses and determine further investigation requirements.
• Create treatment plans tailored to each patient 's diagnosis, clinical status, and care requirements.
• Manage complicated dermatology cases requiring advanced specialist expertise.
• Provide ongoing management for patients living with chronic dermatological conditions.
• Perform appropriate dermatological procedures within the authorized scope of specialist practice.
• Interpret relevant clinical and diagnostic findings when making treatment decisions.
• Monitor patient response to prescribed therapies and modify treatment when indicated.
• Explain diagnoses, treatment alternatives, procedural considerations, and expected outcomes clearly to patients.
• Counsel patients regarding treatment adherence, skin care, preventive measures, and continuing management.
• Conduct scheduled follow-up consultations to assess progress and treatment effectiveness.
• Identify complications or changes in clinical presentation requiring additional intervention.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records for assessments, diagnoses, procedures, and treatment decisions.
• Coordinate care with other medical specialists when additional expertise is required.
• Work effectively with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
• Uphold patient confidentiality, clinical quality, safety standards, and professional medical practice.

Candidates should possess an MD, DNB, Board certification, Fellowship, PhD, or equivalent recognized higher specialty qualification in Dermatology.
