This position plays a critical role in performing kidney transplant surgeries and managing comprehensive patient care throughout the transplant journey. The role contributes to clinical excellence, transplant program development, and improved long-term outcomes for patients with end-stage renal disease.
Key Responsibilities- Perform kidney transplant surgeries and manage preoperative and postoperative patient care
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine patient eligibility for transplantation
- Collaborate with nephrologists, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary teams for optimal outcomes
- Participate in transplant committee meetings and contribute to organ allocation decisions
- Monitor transplant patients and manage follow-up care
- Stay updated with advancements in transplant surgery and clinical practices
- Provide guidance and training to healthcare staff on transplant procedures and patient management
- Build strong relationships with patients, families, and clinical teams
- Medical degree from a recognized institution
- Board certification in Transplant Surgery or equivalent
- 3-5 years of experience as a transplant surgeon
- Strong understanding of organ allocation systems and transplant protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Fluency in English;
