This role focuses on delivering life-saving neonatal care in the NICU, ensuring optimal management of premature and critically ill infants. The position supports multidisciplinary collaboration and contributes to improving neonatal outcomes and family-centered care practices.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialized medical care to newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
- Diagnose and treat conditions including prematurity, respiratory distress, and congenital abnormalities
- Monitor critically ill infants and perform necessary interventions to stabilize patients
- Interpret diagnostic investigations such as imaging and laboratory tests
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including pediatricians and nurses
- Educate parents on newborn care and post-discharge management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation
- Stay updated with advancements in neonatology and NICU practices
- Medical degree with specialization in Neonatology or Pediatric Critical Care
- Minimum 3 years of consultant-level NICU experience
- Valid licensure or eligibility to practice in Saudi Arabia
- Strong clinical expertise in neonatal intensive care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
