Qualifications & Eligibility Criteria- Candidate must be a resident of Saudi Arabia and a dependent under her/his husband's/wife's sponsorship (Local Hire Status)
- Professional Teaching Certification is required. (Elementary School Licensed Educator, North American)
- Certification in the specific subject area.
- 4 year Bachelor's Degree required.
- Master’s degree in Education or related field preferred.
- A proven record of excellence in prior full‑time Lower Elementary teaching posts for a minimum of two years
- Fluent English language capacity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to start work August 6, 2026.
- Understands and can commit to AIS‑R work hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm. (5:00pm on Tuesdays).

- Designs and delivers lessons, content and materials, in line with AIS‑R’s standard curriculums and teaching standards, and utilizes various learning mediums to meet differences in learning preferences.
- Demonstrates knowledge of student individual strengths, interests, motivations and abilities and plans coherent instruction in order to challenge and support student learning and well‑being.
- Manages student behavior, keeps records of behavior, and monitors progress.
- Creates a caring, respectful student‑centered environment conducive to developmentally appropriate learning.
- Collaborates with colleagues, parents and the community members to collectively advance our mission and enhance student learning.
- Paritions responsibilities for after‑school activities as part of AIS‑R’s co‑curricular program.
- Engages in the school’s professional development program and professional growth & evaluation process.
- Partners with families through ongoing communication, conferences, and accurate reporting of student progress honoring divisional reporting timelines.
Salary is assigned from the Faculty salary schedule; the contract term is 190 days. Compensation will be determined based on the established Faculty salary schedule.
Faculty are expected to fulfill duties that extend beyond the school day, including commitments to after‑school activities (ASAs), after‑school learning (ASL), and coaching.
Performance is appraised through the AIS‑R Professional Growth and Evaluation framework and in accordance with school policy.
