We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop a love for the English language while fostering critical thinking and effective communication skills. You will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, assessing student progress, and promoting a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
- Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, tests, and projects.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to help students improve their language skills.
- Create a classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and community events.
- 2-5 years of experience in teaching English language and literature.
- Proven track record of improving student outcomes in language proficiency.
- Experience working with diverse student populations.
- Familiarity with modern teaching methodologies and technology integration in the classroom.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Adaptability and creativity in addressing student needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
- Teaching certification or licensure in English education.
- One month paid leave upon completing one year of service.
