Position: Talent Development Specialist | Travel

Responsibilities
  • Induct new employees, coach existing employees, and run refresher training sessions on best‑practice processes within travel and general customer service. Conduct quality reviews, spot checks, reporting, and coaching based on findings. Continuously improve processes, support testing and implementation of new systems, and deliver training remotely or face‑to‑face.
  • Training and Development Programs – Induction:
    • Deliver induction training ensuring dynamic sessions, timely material, and ample practical exercises.
    • Maintain and update training material before each session.
    • Provide post‑induction coaching (1–2 days) within the first two weeks or hand over to a team manager or trainer where necessary.
    • Ensure completion of all training within the first 12 weeks.
    • Provide feedback and handover notes to line manager and buddy, including call listening and request reviews.
  • Delivery of ongoing development training:
    • Create training plans, implement sessions, and mentor for lifestyle manager development programmes.
    • Deliver modules and refresher training as required.
    • Update modules and manuals when new processes are implemented.
    • Work with line managers to identify individual and team training needs.
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders (Member Satisfaction, Account Managers, Product) on training needs and feedback.
  • Coaching:
    • Support team managers in coaching LMs (objectives agreed with managers).
    • Provide continuous coaching to improve Member Satisfaction and implement agreed measures.
    • Maintain coaching records, including successes and challenges, and report to line manager monthly.
  • Improve Travel processes/systems and related projects:
    • Align training needs and schedules with global travel trainers.
    • Analyze working processes, identify improvement measures, train new processes, and monitor/report progress.
    • Assist in sign‑off and implementation of new releases.
    • Support the Development Team in testing and process changes.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration, Communication and Employee Engagement:
    • Collaborate with HR, department managers, and stakeholders to align talent development with strategic objectives.
    • Support induction training and onboarding through facilitation of sessions.
    • Promote a culture of engagement by fostering a supportive and motivating work environment.
    • Communicate regularly with employees about development opportunities and gather feedback.
  • Behavioral Expectations:

Qualifications
  • Minimum High School Diploma.
  • Practical experience and projects demonstrating hands‑on application of talent development skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in key L&D practices is preferred.
  • SME in GDS with exceptional knowledge of travel systems; at least 3 years experience with Amadeus GDS.
Role‑Specific Competencies
  • Invest in professional development through workshops, conferences, and training courses.
  • Competent use of all training systems and programs at Ten (Ten Learning Online, Rise, Piktochart, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Understand training design, needs analysis, clear objectives, and measurement of effectiveness.
  • Deliver a high‑quality induction experience with an overall new‑starter NPS score of +75.
  • Understand Ten's program launch process and responsibilities.
  • Deliver training (classroom or remote) with an engaging learning environment.
