• Lead science teaching across the senior school, ensuring high quality learning experiences.
• Design and deliver engaging lessons that align with the English National Curriculum.
• Use effective assessment and feedback strategies to support student progress.
• Create a positive classroom climate that promotes well‑being and intercultural respect.
• Support pastoral care as a Form Tutor, providing support for students’ social, emotional and academic well‑being.
• Collaborate with colleagues, contribute to the school’s co‑curricular life and community events.
• Participate in professional development and contribute to curriculum development and assessment.

• Qualified Teacher status (QTS) and a valid UK‑recognised teaching qualification.
• 2 or more years of teaching experience, ideally in a British curriculum context.
• Experience teaching science with a specialism in chemistry preferred.
• Experience working with diverse learning needs and higher‑ability students.
• Strong knowledge of the English National Curriculum and assessment for learning strategies.
• Excellent organisational, communication and time‑management skills.
