The Admission and Registration Officer is the initial point of contact for all prospective students applying for Alfaisal University. The role of this position is to guide students through the admission and registration process, covering all inquiries and issues.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Advises applicants about the programs offered, admission procedure, eligibility, and fees.
- Communicates with prospective students on admission requirements, policies, and procedures, and identify potential problems and facilitate solutions
- Reviews and verifies the application, also revises online applications based on standard admission criteria for Undergraduate applicants.
- Assists student’s applicants who have difficulties with the online application filling.
- Organizes English Entry Exam OPPT.
- Confirms admission, follow up with the acceptance letters, student , payment, original certificate.
- Prepares any letters needed to MoE or any other organizations and prepare statistics and reports on enrollment, graduation, etc.
- Helps Students with any questions or assistance with registering for their courses such as registration, add, drop, and withdraw.
- Handle the registration of the newly admitted students in UPP and existing students and communicates with colleges in case a student has registration issues.
- Apply the University Transfers course policy equivalencies.
- Participates in recruitment, admissions, and registration activities and events such as Open House, Higher Education conventions etc.
- Responds to students’ inquiries and assists undergraduate students in the admission and the registration process.
- Performs all duties in a professional, effective, and confidential manner.
- Performs all other related duties as required or assigned by the line manager.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or equivalent from an accredited institute.
- Minimum of two (02) years of experience in an educational institution or any other related field.
