A well-reputed and established International School in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia is urgently hiring a qualified and experienced English Teacher for Grade 5 under the American Curriculum. The ideal candidate should be passionate about teaching, capable of delivering engaging lessons, and committed to improving students’ English language skills including reading, writing, grammar, and communication. Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver effective and engaging English lessons for Grade 5 students
- Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, grammar, and listening skills
- Create structured lesson plans based on the American curriculum standards
- Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a positive learning environment
- Conduct regular assessments, assignments, and examinations
- Monitor student performance and provide progress reports
- Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate with parents when required
- Use modern teaching methods, smart boards, and digital learning tools
- Encourage student participation, creativity, and critical thinking
- Participate in school academic meetings, training sessions, and co-curricular activities
- Support students in achieving academic excellence and personal development
Qualifications:
- Valid Iqama (mandatory for applying in Saudi Arabia)
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field
- Previous teaching experience in an international or American curriculum school preferred
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a professional and multicultural environment
- Passion for teaching and student development
