Vice Principal Primary School
Chase Resourcing is currently recruiting a Vice Principal Primary School for a major client in Saudi Arabia.
Position Description for the Vice Principal role- The Vice Principal is a member of the Vice Principal Professional Learning Team that discusses our collective work for performance planning, facilities management, student and staff well‑being and professional learning on leadership. The leadership of the team is shared by the Principals.
- Responsible for the induction of new staff into the school.
- To lead the curriculum processes for the school or the student and staff welfare and well‑being initiatives.
- The Vice Principal is expected to summarize the academic performance of the students.
- They would provide recommendations to the Principal of a range of strategies for the staff to improve student performance each term.
- The Vice Principal will lead a team of leaders to plan the explicit teaching of the curriculum, integrate 1:1 learning approaches and ensure the curriculum is personalized to the learning needs of the students; or a team of leaders to plan strategies and programs to improve student wellbeing and engagement (e.g. homerooms).
- Be an effective leader demonstrates the capacity to optimize the schools’ financial, human and physical resources through sound management practices and organisational systems that contribute to the achievement of the schools’ vision and goals.
- Demonstrates the ability to foster a safe, purposeful and inclusive learning environment, and a capacity to develop constructive and respectful relationships with staff, students, parents and other stakeholders.
- Have the capacity to lead, manage and monitor the school improvement process through a current and critical understanding of the learning process and its implications for enhancing high‑quality teaching and learning in every classroom in the school.
- To model important values and behaviours to the school and the community, including a commitment to creating and sustaining effective professional learning communities within the school.
- Understand the characteristics of effective schools and a capacity to lead the school community in promoting a vision of the future, underpinned by common purposes and values that will secure the commitment and alignment of stakeholders to realise the potential of all students. Capabilities shape the future, develop a unique school culture and sustain partnerships and networks.
- The candidate must have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar position and at least 5 years teaching experience at primary‑school level.
- Must hold a BA or a Master’s degree is an advantage.
- Experience with leadership in education.
- Require to have a strong personality and managerial skills.
