Role Overview
We’re hiring an exceptional Head of Mathematics & Physics to help build and lead a new American high school offering in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This is a rare opportunity to help shape an academic program from the ground up – designing a rigorous, engaging, and tech‑enabled Mathematics & Physics programs while helping redefine the future of excellent teaching.
The head of Mathematics & Physics will own the end‑to‑end development of the Mathematics & Physics programs, including curriculum design, instructional approach, assessment, pacing, and teacher support, while also directly teaching one of the courses. This is not a traditional “plug‑and‑play” teaching role. We operate a highly interactive hybrid learning model that combines world‑class remote teachers, in‑class facilitators, and technology‑enabled learning.
Note that this role may be remote; relocation is not required.
What You’ll Do- Design Mathematics & Physics courses including curriculum (units, lesson plans, assessments, homework, etc.) for Noon’s hybrid teaching platform. We are launching with Grade 9 and 10 in Fall of 2026 so those grade levels will be the immediate priorities between now and August.
- Lead, train, and facilitate other Mathematics & Physics teachers in delivering the content.
- Deliver one section of the online Mathematics lessons (beginning in August) aligned to our curriculum and learning outcomes.
- Design, adapt, and improve lessons and materials on an ongoing basis.
- Use EdTech and digital tools to drive engagement, differentiation, and participation.
- Collaborate with the wider team to refine curriculum, delivery methods, and learning journeys.
- Experience designing International American high school Mathematics & Physics curriculum aligned to CCSS and NGSS standards.
- Experience designing and/or delivering Mathematics & Physics curriculum for students for whom English may be a second language.
- Recognized teaching qualification (BA/MA in subject area, TESOL, CELTA, etc.).
- 5+ Years of experience.
- Able to work full-time Sunday to Thursday (GMT +3). There may be flexibility to work a half‑day Sunday morning & half‑day Friday if preferable to working Sunday.
- Experience teaching online groups of 5+ students.
- Native English speaker from English‑speaking country (e.g., US, UK, South Africa, Australia).
- Reliable internet and a professional video setup.
- Familiarity with AI or emerging EdTech tools and resources in teaching.
- Arabic language ability.
- Someone who feels up for the challenging of designing & delivering excellent Mathematics & Physics curriculums for Grade 9 and 10 by August 2026.
- Someone who feels comfortable owning Mathematics & Physics program development, teacher training, and course delivery end‑to‑end.
