• A relevant Bachelor’s degree (Physics or closely related subject)
• A recognised teaching qualification, such as a PGCE, QTS, or a U.S. state teaching licence
• A minimum of two years’ classroom teaching experience, ideally within an international school setting
• Experience teaching Physics at high school level, including exam preparation for relevant external qualifications

• Strong subject knowledge and the ability to make physics relevant, practical and engaging
• Confident use of differentiated teaching strategies to support a range of learners
• Strong classroom management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students
• Good working knowledge of assessment for learning and exam‑board requirements
• Effective use of technology to enhance teaching and learning
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
