Overview
An exceptional opportunity for an experienced English Literature and Language teacher to join a prestigious private education team supporting a high‑profile family in Riyadh. The role delivers a bespoke English programme to students from Grades 8‑12, combining academic excellence with creative student‑centred learning. It includes occasional travel within Saudi Arabia and offers the opportunity to work in a highly personalised educational environment with motivated learners.
Responsibilities- Teach English Literature and Language to students in Grades 8‑12.
- Deliver a Cambridge‑based curriculum enhanced by project‑based learning.
- Support students through a combination of daytime and after‑school teaching.
- Work closely with the Curriculum Coordinator, fellow subject specialists, and students.
- Teach between 2‑4 children per class.
- Occasional travel within Saudi Arabia.
- Bachelor’s degree in English Literature, English Language, or a related subject.
- Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE,
B.Ed. or equivalent). - First‑language or near‑native proficiency in English.
- Minimum two years of secondary/high‑school English teaching experience.
- Experience teaching English Literature and Language at GCSE level strongly preferred.
- Experience with Cambridge, British, IB, Australian, New Zealand, Canadian or US curricula.
- Flexible, professional, adaptable, and culturally sensitive.
- Under 57 years of age due to visa regulations.
- Female applicants only; only female teachers will be employed due to local regulations.
- Ability to teach Business welcomed but not essential.
