EFL Teacher

English Path is seeking an engaging and professional EFL Teacher to join our academic team in Birmingham. The role plays a key part in delivering high‑quality English language education and supporting students to achieve meaningful progress through enjoyable, effective, and well‑structured lessons.

• Plan, deliver, and assess English language lessons aligned with course objectives and learner needs.
• Ensure learning outcomes are achieved through effective teaching and regular assessment.
• Maintain accurate student attendance records and academic documentation.
• Develop, review, and update teaching materials as required.
• Use a range of teaching methods and resources, including classroom technology and live online learning.
• Attend academic meetings and collaborate closely with the Academic and Centre Management teams.
• Attend regular professional development and training sessions.
• Be punctual and prepared for classes, ensuring a professional and organised learning environment.
• Support additional academic or centre‑wide activities as required.

• CELTA, CertTESOL, or equivalent recognised ELT qualification.
• Bachelor’s degree in any subject.
• Proven experience teaching English as a Foreign Language.
• Structured yet creative approach to lesson planning and delivery.
• Experience teaching in both in‑person and online settings.
• Confidence using classroom technology in a creative and effective way.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accurate record‑keeping.
• Professional, reliable, and student‑focused approach.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse learner groups.
