Responsibilities
  • Deliver a mix of classroom teaching and instrumental tuition.
  • Be reflective, highly motivated, and collaborative to deliver outstanding learning experiences.
  • Create a positive learning climate and support holistic development and well‑being of students.
  • Use effective assessment and feedback to ensure good progress.
  • Support pastoral care as a Form Tutor, providing first point of contact for students’ social, emotional and academic well‑being.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school including the broad co‑curricular programme and community events.
  • Support the school’s mission, vision and motto, and be innovative and creative in teaching.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Qualified Teacher status.
  • Certificate of Education (PGCE or

    B.Ed); relevant training or qualifications for the specific post.
  • At least 2 years teaching experience; experience in various contexts (UK and international) and with Key Stage or subject.
  • Experience with positive behavior management, curriculum development and assessment.
  • Experience with diverse learning needs, including highly able and second language students or willingness to train.
  • Understanding of the English National Curriculum and Assessment for Learning strategies.

  • Ability to create a stimulating learning environment and demonstrate creative teaching.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; high emotional intelligence and humour.
  • Organizational, time‑management, and ability to support teaching assistants.
