Responsibilities- Deliver a mix of classroom teaching and instrumental tuition.
- Be reflective, highly motivated, and collaborative to deliver outstanding learning experiences.
- Create a positive learning climate and support holistic development and well‑being of students.
- Use effective assessment and feedback to ensure good progress.
- Support pastoral care as a Form Tutor, providing first point of contact for students’ social, emotional and academic well‑being.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school including the broad co‑curricular programme and community events.
- Support the school’s mission, vision and motto, and be innovative and creative in teaching.
- Qualified Teacher status.
- Certificate of Education (PGCE or
B.Ed); relevant training or qualifications for the specific post. - At least 2 years teaching experience; experience in various contexts (UK and international) and with Key Stage or subject.
- Experience with positive behavior management, curriculum development and assessment.
- Experience with diverse learning needs, including highly able and second language students or willingness to train.
- Understanding of the English National Curriculum and Assessment for Learning strategies.
- Ability to create a stimulating learning environment and demonstrate creative teaching.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; high emotional intelligence and humour.
- Organizational, time‑management, and ability to support teaching assistants.
- Commitment to professional development and co‑curricular life.
- Warmth, flexibility, team player, high expectations, and empathy.
- Intercultural awareness and cultural sensitivity.
