NTU International is preparing a proposal for the project “Communication outreach and engagement on EU policies in North Africa, the Middle East and the Gulf”.
In this context, NTU International is establishing a pool of qualified Non-Key Experts (Senior and Junior) to be mobilised on a short-term, on-demand basis during project implementation (36 months).
The overall objective of this assignment is to provide strategic, technical and logistical communication support to DG MENA in the planning, development and implementation of its day-to-day communication activities, with the aim of strengthening the visibility, outreach and impact of the European Union's policies, initiatives and partnerships across the Middle East, North Africa and the Gulf region.
Responsibilities
- Designing and delivering communication and media training programmes, workshops and seminars.
- Developing training materials, toolkits, presentations and practical exercises tailored to different target audiences.
- Delivering capacity-building sessions on strategic communication, media engagement, digital communication and related topics.
- Facilitating interactive workshops, group discussions and simulation exercises.
- Assessing participants' learning needs and adapting training content accordingly.
- Evaluating training outcomes and preparing post-training reports and recommendations.
- Providing coaching and mentoring to communication professionals and institutional stakeholders.
- Supporting the development of sustainable learning resources and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Minimum Qualification and Skills
- Degree (or equivalent) in communication/media, or equivalent experience;
- Fluent English, French and/or Arabic as relevant.
Minimum General and Specific Professional Experience
- 5 years' general experience in communication/media;
- 3 years' specific experience designing and delivering training seminars.
