Indian Librarian

Indian Librarian in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

We are seeking a highly organized and knowledgeable Indian Librarian to join our team at a prestigious library in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a librarian, you will be responsible for managing and organizing our extensive collection of books, journals, and other materials. You must have experience working in a library setting and be familiar with the Dewey Decimal Classification System.

• Maintain and organize the library's collection of books, journals, and other materials.
• Assist patrons with finding resources and provide reference services.
• Manage library databases and ensure accurate cataloging of materials.
• Create engaging displays to promote new or relevant materials.
• Develop and teach information literacy classes to students and staff.
• Stay up-to-date on current trends and technologies in the library field.

• Must be an Indian national currently residing in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience working in a library setting.
• Proficient in using the Dewey Decimal Classification System.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

This is a full-time position with a salary of 1600$ per month. The work schedule is from Sunday to Thursday, with weekends off. This position does not come with accommodation so applicants must already have their own housing arrangements. A valid biometric passport is required for this position.
