Renewable Energy Technician; Tamheer

Kafou Energy is seeking a skilled Renewable Energy Technician to support the installation, inspection, and maintenance of solar energy systems and energy efficiency projects. The technician will work on-site across various project locations, ensuring high-quality execution, system reliability, and safety compliance.

• Perform installation, wiring, and commissioning of solar PV systems.
• Conduct routine and corrective maintenance for solar systems and related electrical components.
• Inspect systems, identify faults, and execute necessary repairs.
• Monitor system performance using specialized tools and provide detailed technical reports.
• Support site teams in daily operational tasks and assist during testing and commissioning activities.
• Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure material availability and workflow continuity.
• Follow all company Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) procedures.
• Document daily tasks, field observations, and progress updates accurately.

• Diploma in Renewable Energy, Electrical Technology, or a related technical field.
• Ability to work outdoors and travel between multiple project sites.
• Basic knowledge of reading electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Practical understanding of renewable energy systems, especially solar PV.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems in the field.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Good proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
