Industry: Power Generation / Distributed Energy / Oil & Gas
A leading international energy solutions provider is seeking an experienced Sales Manager (Gas Turbine Generators) to drive commercial growth across the Middle East. This role focuses on developing end‑user markets and delivering turnkey power generation solutions, including gas turbine units, modular power plants, and integrated “generate–store–use” microgrid systems.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and qualify end‑user customers such as gas power plants, industrial facilities, large‑scale energy storage operators, and oil & gas sites.
- Identify, track, and convert opportunities into signed commercial contracts.
- Lead commercial negotiations, participate in tenders and bidding processes, and manage customer relationships through execution to handover.
- Build and implement territory sales plans to achieve annual revenue targets while managing the sales pipeline and forecasting.
- Conduct market research, monitor regulatory and industry trends, and produce actionable market analysis reports.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with government stakeholders, strategic partners, distributors, agents, and key accounts.
- Represent the company at trade shows, forums, and industry conferences.
- Collaborate with technical, bidding, project delivery, and after‑sales teams to support feasibility studies, grid‑connection procedures, and successful commissioning.
- Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Electrical/Power, Mechanical, or related STEM).
- Proven experience in developing end‑user markets within the power sector, including gas power plants, distributed power, and large‑scale energy storage.
- Experience working with utilities and grid‑connection procedures.
- Strong background in international or overseas project operations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management capabilities.
- Familiarity with major gas turbine and engine OEMs (e.g., Siemens Energy, GE, Baker Hughes, INNIO, Wärtsilä, MAN, Rolls‑Royce) is preferred.
