Technician- Early Career Trainee

Overview

This internship with the GE Vernova team offers hands-on experience through challenging projects, exposure to experienced professionals, and networking opportunities. The Early Career Training program is an investment in young talent, training fresh graduates who meet criteria to undertake a traineeship within a GE business.

The traineeship duration varies by business need and aims to develop general skills, on-the-job knowledge, and technical experience.

• Learn, understand, and execute repairing and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain back-office reporting, test reports, and customer documentation at the site.
• Consult and coordinate with OEMs for unsolved repair problems.
• Provide technical assistance as needed for installation or pre-arrangements of projects.
• Perform duties as part of a team or as site lead to allocate responsibilities to the site team.
• Participate in Safety, Quality, and Productivity Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Understand the importance of safety on site and perform LOTO operations.

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or relevant fields; fresh graduates or up to 2 years of experience.
• Knowledge in the electrical field, especially High Voltage Switchgear.
• Understanding equipment information.
• Basic understanding of drawings.
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
• Willingness to work at various sites in the kingdom.

• Self-driven, attentive to detail, outcome-oriented, and a good working attitude.
• Fast learner and quick to adapt.
• Hard worker.
