We are seeking an experienced Electrical Inspector with strong expertise in Electrical Systems, ELV (Extra Low Voltage), and ICT Infrastructure to support the Program Management and Construction Management (PMCM) team on the prestigious project in Riyadh.
The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, monitoring, and ensuring that all electrical, ELV, and ICT installation works are executed in compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, quality standards, and approved construction drawings.
Responsibilities- Conduct site inspections for electrical, ELV, and ICT works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Monitor installation and testing activities related:
- Power distribution systems
- Lighting systems
- Earthing and lightning protection systems
- Structured cabling systems
- Data and communication networks
- CCTV systems
- Access control systems
- Public Address (PA) systems
- Audio Visual (AV) systems
- Building Management Systems (BMS)
- Fire Alarm and Security Systems
- Review contractor inspection requests (IRs), material submittals, shop drawings, and method statements.
- Verify quality of workmanship and ensure adherence to project quality standards.
- Identify deficiencies, issue non-conformance reports (NCRs), and monitor corrective actions.
- Witness testing and commissioning activities and maintain inspection records.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with relevant Saudi regulations, international codes, health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inspection reports.
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in electrical inspection, with significant exposure to ELV and ICT systems.
- Experience working on large-scale infrastructure, mixed-use, commercial, hospitality, or mega projects.
- Prior experience in a PMCM/Consultancy environment is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of international standards, including IEC, NFPA, IEEE, TIA/EIA, and relevant Saudi regulations.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and technical specifications.
