The role is hiring an experienced BIM leader who can manage complex digital models, establish BIM standards, improve production workflows, maintain model quality, and act as the principal technical authority for BIM delivery across architecture, structure, MEP, civil, and systems disciplines.

Role Context The BIM Manager will lead the technical governance and coordinated delivery of project information within a complex multidisciplinary environment. The position combines model development oversight, QA and QC, digital workflow management, clash coordination, staff leadership, client engagement, software administration, reporting, and BIM strategy. By maintaining reliable data structures, consistent modelling standards, and disciplined information exchange, the role helps reduce coordination risks, improve constructability, strengthen decision-making, and support efficient delivery of the Qiddiya Project.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, define, and maintain BIM execution approaches for complex digital models while aligning architectural, engineering, construction, and project requirements.
- Oversee BIM procedures, modelling standards, project conventions, and digital delivery workflows across assigned work packages.
- Conduct regular model reviews to verify accuracy, accessibility, completeness, compliance, and suitability for downstream project use.
- Lead technical assurance of BIM deliverables and prepare model review reports, compliance documentation, special provisions, and quality findings.
- Direct production of complex models and drawings while applying structured risk controls to prevent coordination and data-quality issues.
- Review BIM proposals, workflows, and technical solutions and recommend practical mitigation measures where model or delivery risks are identified.
- Improve existing BIM processes by simplifying workflows, reducing duplication, strengthening coordination, and standardizing team practices.
- Develop standard resources, templates, production methods, and estimating approaches for model and drawing deliverables.
- Serve as the primary BIM technical contact for clients, providing guidance on modelling requirements, digital processes, technical ambiguities, and information delivery.
- Coordinate model integration across architecture, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, civil, and systems disciplines.
- Manage BIM-related hardware, software, databases, and digital environments to maintain availability, reliability, and performance.
- Support BIM budgeting, resource planning, cost forecasting, and production capacity analysis.
- Contribute BIM methodology, resourcing, scope, risk, and technical input to competitive project proposals.
- Monitor modelling task schedules, staffing requirements, production progress, and resource allocation against established delivery plans.
- Generate BIM performance reports covering KPIs, model quality, coordination status, production performance, and outstanding technical issues.
- Advise senior management on BIM strategy, software platforms, workflow development, team capability, digital standards, and resourcing.
- Lead model QA and QC implementation using structured checklists, review procedures, issue tracking, and compliance controls.
- Supervise clash detection activities and support multidisciplinary coordination between project teams and model authors.
- Guide teams in using Common Data Environments, CAD tools, BIM platforms, and standardized digital delivery procedures.
- Manage catalogue and content compliance including 2D symbology, BIM families, parametric components, parts, and sub-assemblies.
- Develop staff training plans and provide technical coaching to improve modelling capability, workflow consistency, and deliverable quality.
- Stay current with developments in BIM, CAD, digital construction, information management, and common data environment technologies.
A Bachelor 's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or another relevant discipline is preferred, although equivalent professional experience may also be considered.
