Estimation Manager

Our client, a well-established construction company based in Kuwait, is expanding its operations into KSA. Committed to implementing best practices in estimation, tendering, and finance, they are launching their new office in Riyadh.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Estimation Manager to build and lead the Estimation Department. This role involves overseeing all pre-contract estimation activities, delivering accurate and competitive bids, and fostering a team-oriented environment that supports the company's objectives.

• Lead and manage the estimation process for civil and electromechanical projects.
• Review and analyze tender documents, drawings, and technical specifications to determine project requirements.
• Build and develop the estimation department, including hiring and training new team members.
• Liaise with project managers and senior engineers to integrate estimation best practices.
• Develop relationships with subcontractors and vendors for competitive pricing and specification compliance.
• Collaborate with finance and tendering departments to ensure alignment of financial projections with bid submissions.
• Coordinate with internal teams to gather pricing data and technical details, ensuring accurate cost forecasting.
• Implement strategies and methodologies to minimize risks and enhance profitability.
• Maintain a database of cost data, market trends, and supplier information.
• Prepare detailed cost estimation reports and participate in contract negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry requirements in Saudi Arabia.
• Report directly to the CEO, providing regular updates on departmental progress and challenges.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• 10-15 years of experience in construction estimation, preferably within Saudi Arabia.
• Proven experience with major contractors and clients in KSA.
• Strong proficiency in estimation software and MS Office.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
• Fluency in English;
  Arabic proficiency is a plus.
• Must have experience working in KSA.
