The Design Engineer is responsible for developing complete engineering designs and documentation for integrated security systems including CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Perimeter Protection, and related low‑current systems. The role involves creating detailed AutoCAD drawings, technical submittals, and coordinating with project teams to ensure compliance with client specifications, standards, and project timelines.

• Prepare system designs, schematics, and shop drawings for integrated security systems using AutoCAD.
• Develop low current system layouts, single-line diagrams, and detailed connection drawings.
• Design CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion, IDAS, and Perimeter Detection Systems according to project requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and procurement teams to ensure proper equipment selection and design compliance.
• Review and interpret client specifications, RFPs, and IFC drawings to prepare compliant design solutions.
• Generate Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and support tendering with accurate material take-offs.
• Ensure designs meet international standards (e.g., NEC, NFPA, UL, EN, and local authority requirements such as HCIS).
• Assist in technical submittals preparation and respond to consultant/client design comments.
• Conduct site surveys when required to confirm design feasibility and cable routing.
• Support project teams during installation and commissioning with design clarifications or revisions.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Communication Engineering (or related field).
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in security systems design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2D/3D and familiar with drawing standards for ELV systems.
• Strong knowledge of security systems integration, including:
• CCTV (IP/Analog, PTZ, NVRs, VMS)
• Access Control (controllers, readers, locks, credential systems)
• Intrusion Detection and Perimeter Systems
• Intercom, IDAS, and Gate Barrier Systems
• Experience with Lenel, Axis, Bosch, Pelco, or equivalent systems preferred.
• Good understanding of network infrastructure for IP-based systems.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Experience with Revit or BIM modeling is a plus.
• Knowledge of Saudi Aramco, HCIS, or SEC standards.
• Ability to prepare as-built drawings and update redlines accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently under pressure.
