ACES is looking for a Senior Pile Testing and Instrumintation Engineer to join our team in Saudi Arabia

Job Summary

Supports the Department/Section Manager in planning, controlling and organizing the department activities. Review testing reports, coordinate pile and instrumentation testing activities with technicians and clients and ensure all testing are performed according to required specifications. And ensure the test reports meet the requirement of project Specification and as the per the ASTM standards. And lead the team under direct supervision and motivate them to maintain team efficiency.

Duties

and Responsibilities Managerial Duties
  • Implement section’s policies, goals, objectives and procedures and support in their development as needed.
  • Oversee the implementation of operations plan, policies, procedures and transition/ migration plans.
  • Support Department Manager in management of resources, cost control and budgeting.
Technical Duties
  • Conduct site inspection and supervision.
  • Prepare and imitate checking of reports before submission to approval by department Manager.
  • Perform site visits & check site activities.
  • Check test worksheets for accuracy or results.
  • Ensure maintenance of equipment and arrange for repairs when required.
  • Verify equipment before its use in the site.
  • Ensure implementation of safety regulations and protection measures.
  • Ensure all tests are carried out as per required standard procedure.
  • Conduct Initial Analysis of the Raw data.
  • Checking the details given in the data and worksheet is matching.
  • Verify and approve reports and check them before delivering to the clients and ensure data quality.
  • Advising the technician regarding the site conditions.
  • Conduct preparation of method statement.
  • Follow up requirements for safety, using appropriate protective tools.
  • Recommend adopting new technology related to pile testing.
  • Any duties or responsibilities assigned by the management.
Reporting To

This position will directly report to the Pile Testing & Instrumentation Department Manager.

Job Requirements Education & Experience
  • Bachelor Degree in Geotechnical, Civil Engineering or Electronics Engineering any related field.
  • 6-8 years of experience in the field of Pile testing and instrumentation techniques.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • Fundamentals Mathematics, Calculations, Statistics, and Data Analysis.
  • Fundamentals of Materials Science.
  • Fundamentals of Geology.
  • Pile Testing and Instrumentation Equipment.
  • Monitoring of Pile Installation.
