G3R Maintenance Professional

As part of Guideway and 3rd Rail subsystem in charge of 97 km of single track, 21 stations, the Maintenance Professional supports the leader in ensuring service availability and achieving maintenance targets. Reporting to the Guideway and 3rd Rail subsystem Leader, you will work with a multi-skilled Maintenance Professional and engineer team while adhering to HSE & AZDP policies.

• Participate in the Guideway and 3rd Rail internal and contractual training to achieve highest performance
• Work in a safe working environment by respecting method statements, strict application of Permit to Work, and Alstom safety rules
• Follow the instructions of the hierarchy to meet availability of the Guideway and 3rd Rail equipment
• Apply planned and unplanned maintenance in time to avoid service disruption
• Identify critical issues proactively and communicate with your leader
• Follow up reporting and configuration change rules & processes via the proper tool
• Report with transparency
• Ensure work is performed safely and effectively in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act (1974), Rules and Regulations, AZDP, Railway Group Standards, TOC Safety Case, ALSTOM Policies & Procedures & Code of Ethics
• Accountable for proper implementation of Alstom policy and customer requirements by all stakeholders (internal & external) including suppliers and contractors; use and promote Close Call Reporting

• 3 years’ experience in Guideway and 3rd Rail maintenance
• Previous experience working with multicultural teams
• Strong knowledge of railway products and systems
• Clear reporting skills
• Professionalism in working style
• Knowledge of the Guideway and 3rd Rail system
• Sense of urgency
• Problem solving and analytical thinking
• Planning and organizational skills to meet availability and reliability figures
