JASARA PMC is looking for an Engineering Policies, Standards and Guidelines Engineer to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining engineering policies, standards, and guidelines that support our projects and ensure compliance with industry best practices. This position is critical in enhancing the quality and consistency of engineering deliverables across the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Supports the update of the technical policies, standards and guidelines relating to Engineering Services (i.e. design, engineering, construction, risk, quantity surveying, HSE, Sustainability, BIM, GIS).
  • Studies the best practices on design and engineering policies and seeks applicability to F&E.
  • Reviews government guidelines including safety, environment, sustainability policies, procedures and standards.
  • Reviews international guidelines applicable to design and engineering for developing infrastructure and facilities and incorporates applicable rules, regulations and guidelines.
  • Updates the Engineering Services Policies and Guidelines.
  • Coordinates with Regulatory Authorities to update standards.
  • Recommends updates to the standards, policies and guidelines for approval at the Infrastructure Board.
  • Tracks compliance with Engineering policies, guidelines, and standards.
  • Supports the design reviews at various stages of project (i.e. 30%, 60% & 90% completion) to ensure compliance.
  • Minimum Requirements
    • Bachelors/ Masters/ PhD in Engineering or equivalent.
    • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in engineering standards and policy development.
    • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, codes, and standards.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Proficiency in technical writing and documentation.
    • Experience in conducting training and workshops.
    • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
