Expression of Interest – Subject Matter Expert; SME

We are seeking a Housing Sector Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide technical and sector-specific expertise related to housing and municipal activities. This advisory role supports the development of standards, classification frameworks, and technical guidelines aligned with sector needs and practical implementation.

• Provide subject matter expertise related to:
• Housing
• Construction
• Facilities management
• Support the development and review of:
• Technical standards and classification criteria
• Sector-specific frameworks and guidelines
• Advise on practical implementation considerations within the housing sector.
• Participate in technical workshops, review sessions, or advisory meetings as required.
• Support knowledge transfer to delivery and implementation teams.

• 7+ years of experience in one or more of the following sectors:
• Housing
• Construction
• Facilities management
• Strong understanding of sector operations and technical requirements.
• Ability to provide applied, practical guidance rather than purely theoretical input.
• Experience working with public sector entities or regulated environments is preferred.
• Fluency in Arabic is required.
• English proficiency is a plus but not mandatory.
• Relevant academic or professional qualifications in Engineering, Construction, or a related field.
