Manage GIS Data to ensure it continues to meet the set standards, and is accurate, consistent, complete, and current.
Responsibilities- Develop methods and automate tools to improve the quality and integration of geospatial and BIM data.
- Convert BIM data (Revit, IFC, Civil 3D) into GIS-compatible formats, ensuring seamless interoperability between CAD/BIM and GIS environments.
- Prepare QC reports and collaborate with consultants to resolve data quality issues.
- Provide technical support for data conversion and manage various CAD, BIM, and GIS formats.
- Conduct quality control of satellite imagery, drone data, and other raster outputs to ensure accuracy, resolution consistency, georeferencing integrity, and suitability for GIS analysis
- Maintain and update utility and road network datasets within GIS.
- Manage GIS data loading into enterprise geodatabases and ensure compliance with data standards.
- Produce thematic maps, perform spatial analysis, and generate reports to support project decision-making.
- Assist GIS teams and other departments with BIM-GIS data integration efforts.
- Publish geospatial and BIM data via the ArcGIS Enterprise Portal.
- Stay up to date with the emerging BIM and GIS technologies and industry’s best practices.
- Proven experience with ArcGIS Enterprise, GIS data management, and GIS data quality tools.
- Expertise in BIM software including Revit, Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and IFC standards.
- Strong skills in BIM-to-GIS data conversion and integration workflows.
- Proficiency in Python, ArcGIS Model Builder, and FME for process automation.
- Experience with 3D GIS visualization and spatial analysis.
- Background in utility, infrastructure, or street network GIS management preferred.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and project management skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects effectively.
- Familiarity with GIS applications in the real estate industry is a plus.
- Strong knowledge and practical understanding of Digital Twin technologies and applications
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS or Engineering or a related discipline.
- 8+ years of relevant experience
