Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Specialist to maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, and optimize instrumentation and control systems across industrial or power generation environments. The role focuses on ensuring system reliability, safety compliance, and continuous improvement of DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems while supporting upgrades and projects.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation and control systems
Monitor, analyze, and optimize DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies
Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce downtime
Diagnose and resolve I&C system faults to minimize production interruptions
Support control system upgrades, commissioning, and system modifications
Maintain technical documentation, system configurations, and maintenance records
Collaborate with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams
Provide guidance and training to junior technicians
Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field (required)
Master’s degree in Engineering Management or Instrumentation (preferred)
Certifications (Preferred):
Professional certification in Instrumentation & Control (e.g., ISA, ECSA)
8–10 years’ experience in I&C maintenance within industrial or power generation environments
Strong hands-on experience with DCS, PLC, SCADA, and field instrumentation
Experience in hazardous area classifications and explosive environments (preferred)
Advanced understanding of process control systems, safety systems, and diagnostics
Proficient in regulatory compliance and safety standards
Expertise in predictive maintenance tools and IoT-based diagnostics
Proficient in system integration and control system lifecycle management
Advanced troubleshooting and fault diagnosis skills
Proficient in control system software and CMMS (e.g., SAP PM)
Strong project management skills for shutdowns, upgrades, and turnarounds
Good analytical, leadership, communication, and mentoring skills
