About the Role:
We are seeking highly motivated LEED & Mostadam Specialists to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring projects achieve LEED and Mostadam certification. You will work closely with our the project's architects, engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the design phase to develop sustainable building strategies and navigate the certification process. We have various office-based openings in our offices in Doha and Riyadh.
You will be part of a bigger sustainability and certification management team, where you will be assigned tasks that suit your background and experience. This is a more design-relevant role (i.e. site compliance experience is not part of the responsibilities).
Responsibilities:
- Assist the design team in developing and implementing sustainable design strategies that meet LEED and Mostadam requirements.
- Analyze project designs and identify opportunities for sustainable performance improvements.
- Conduct LEED/Mostadam credit calculations to determine credit scores.
- Report on sustainability KPIs and LEED/Mostadam criteria achievements at each design milestone.
- Prepare and maintain LEED and Mostadam project documentation.
- Track project progress towards LEED and Mostadam certification goals across different stages of design.
- Conduct research on the latest sustainable design practices and technologies.
- Stay up-to-date on LEED and Mostadam rating systems and guidelines.
- Take part in the LEED and Mostadam certification process as advised by your supervisor.
Qualifications:
- LEED Green Associate (LEED GA) or LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP) credential (preferred).
- University degree in a relevant engineering field (Architecture, Civil, MEP, Landscape, Urban Planning, Environmental Engineering).
- 2-5 years of overall experience, of which at least 2 years in sustainable design or LEED/Mostadam certification.
- Strong understanding of sustainable design principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Bonus Points:
- Experience with energy modeling and simulation software.
- Knowledge of Lifecycle Assessment (LCA) and embodied carbon calculations.
- Experience working on projects in the GCC.
- Fluency in Arabic (highly desirable) and English.
