1. Assists the RSAF in the analysis and solution of engineering problems related to avionics systems and equipment. Evaluatesanalytical possibilities and devises methods for the solution of problems.
Performs analysis of communication, navigation, radar and instrument system sand equipment.
2. Assist the RSAF in creating original design for changes to existing systems to improve reliability, maintainability, or performance.
Selects materials, components and process suitable for the conditions associated with the end use of the system or equipment. Evaluates the design ofproposed new systems and equipment or changes to existing systems and equipment to determine that design criteria have been met.
3. Prepares specifications for the design and performance of avionics systems and equipment. Devises tests to be performed toverify performance to specification requirements.
4. Monitors test programs associated with avionicssystems and equipment. Evaluates test data to identify problems and or/verifyperformance.
5. Provides guidance and instruction to other engineers in the field of avionics engineering. Organizes and conducts informal
On-the-Job-Training (OJT).
6. Recommends additional formal training to enhance the engineering capabilities of other engineers.
Requirements1. B.S. Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
2. Six (6) years of experience as anelectronics/avionics engineer.
3. Should have computer experience on word processing and database Usage.
