Responsibilities
Analyzes malfunctions, Inspects, installs, maintains, and troubleshoots avionic communications, weapons control, navigation (to Include inertial and radar navigation) and penetration aidssystems and associated test equipment at the organizational level. Supervisesorganizational level avionic communications, weapons control, inertial/radarnavigation, and penetration aids systems activities.Analyzes performance and isolatesmalfunctions of integrated avionic communications, navigation, weapons control,and penetration aids systems.Operates avionic communications, navigation,weapons control, and penetration aids systems using required test and support equipment.Analyzes equipment operation characteristics to Isolate malfunctions to subsystems and components.Monitors equipment performance to detectand analyze recurring malfunctionsTrain RSAF personnel to 5 and 7 skilllevelsMaintain technical orders (TOs), publications and RSAF training recordsRequirements
USAF 7 Level Avionics Technician or equivalent /F15
Comm/Nav (C Shop)
USAF/RSAF Equivalent Air Force Special Code:19775
Demonstrates proficiency in analyzingperformance and isolating malfunctions of integrated avionic communications,navigation, weapons control and penetration aids systems.Proficient in removal, alignment,installation, bore-sighting and check-outs of avionic communications,navigation, weapons control, and penetration aids systems.Proficient in troubleshooting avionic communications, navigation,weapons control, and penetration aids systems malfunctions and effectingrepair.Proficient in fault isolation and repair of countermeasure systemsTax-Free Salary (As governed by the applicable Home Country Tax Codes)
