Senior Manager - Design - Sports Assets - SPA

Qiddiya Investment Company is leading the charge in creating an extraordinary destination for sports and entertainment in Saudi Arabia. We are currently seeking a talented and dynamic Senior Manager - Design for Sports Assets to play a pivotal role in the design and development of state-of-the-art sports facilities. This position requires a strategic thinker with a passion for sports and a deep understanding of the unique requirements of designing modern sports venues.

• Lead the design process for sports assets, ensuring all designs align with Qiddiya's vision and strategic goals
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including sports organizations, to define specific requirements and ensure designs meet functional needs
• Manage a team of designers and engineers to develop innovative and sustainable sports facilities that enhance athlete and spectator experiences
• Develop design standards and guidelines that adhere to international regulations and best practices in sports facility design
• Conduct regular design reviews to ensure projects remain on schedule, within budget, and aligned with the overall vision
• Engage with local and international sports venue experts to incorporate cutting‑edge trends and technologies into the design
• Ensure all designs comply with environmental sustainability standards and promote efficient use of resources
• Present design concepts to senior leadership and other stakeholders, articulating the vision, benefits, and feasibility of the proposed designs

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred)
• A minimum of 8–10 years of experience in designing sports facilities or large‑scale architectural projects
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams and large‑scale projects from concept to completion
• Strong portfolio showcasing relevant design experience, particularly in sports or entertainment sectors
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up, and related tools
• Exceptional leadership and project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to motivate and guide teams
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging varied stakeholders
• Understanding of sustainability practices and regulations related to sports facility design
