- Lead and execute the mechanical design process from concept through production, ensuring compliance with project specifications
- Perform detailed engineering analyses, including stress, thermal, and fluid flow calculations
- Develop and review technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, and manuals for mechanical systems
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure cohesive project delivery and problem resolution
- Mentor and support junior engineers and design staff in their development and project contributions
- Participate in design reviews and projects meetings, presenting design concepts and updates to stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with the latest engineering technologies and industry trends to enhance design capabilities
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- A minimum of 18 years of experience in mechanical design engineering
- Strong expertise in CAD software, such as Solid Works, AutoCAD, or similar tools
- Proven track record of managing mechanical design projects from inception to completion
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Professional Engineering license (PE) is preferred but not required
