Today, we are recruiting for a Test & Commissioning Engineer - Signalling / CBTC to join our team in Saudi Arabia. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.
What Are My Responsibilities?- Assist in site testing activities for CBTC signalling equipment, including ATP, ATO, interlocking, trackside, and onboard systems.
- Execute approved test procedures and test cases under the supervision of senior engineers.
- Collect, document, and evaluate test results, and support tracking of non‑conformities and test issues.
- Support integration testing between subsystems, including signalling, rolling stock, platform screen doors (PSDs), and telecom systems.
- Monitor system performance during testing activities and assist in fault diagnosis and troubleshooting.
- Participate in trial running, reliability demonstrations, and safety validation processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, or Railway Engineering.
- Basic understanding of control systems, automation, and communication networks.
- Strong analytical mindset with an interest in testing, debugging, and system integration.
- Good documentation, reporting, and data analysis skills.
- Ability and willingness to work on operational sites (stations, trackside, OCC), including shift work when required.
- Exposure to projects involving embedded systems, programming, or robotics is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of railway signalling principles.
