Today, we are recruiting for a Test & Commissioning Engineer - Signalling / CBTC to join our team in Saudi Arabia. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility.

What Are My Responsibilities?
  • Assist in site testing activities for CBTC signalling equipment, including ATP, ATO, interlocking, trackside, and onboard systems.
  • Execute approved test procedures and test cases under the supervision of senior engineers.
  • Collect, document, and evaluate test results, and support tracking of non‑conformities and test issues.
  • Support integration testing between subsystems, including signalling, rolling stock, platform screen doors (PSDs), and telecom systems.
  • Monitor system performance during testing activities and assist in fault diagnosis and troubleshooting.
  • Participate in trial running, reliability demonstrations, and safety validation processes.
What Do I Need to Qualify for This Job?
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, or Railway Engineering.
  • Basic understanding of control systems, automation, and communication networks.
  • Strong analytical mindset with an interest in testing, debugging, and system integration.
  • Good documentation, reporting, and data analysis skills.
  • Ability and willingness to work on operational sites (stations, trackside, OCC), including shift work when required.
  • Exposure to projects involving embedded systems, programming, or robotics is an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of railway signalling principles.
