Procurement Engineer

Job Brief

We are looking for an innovative Procurement Engineer in Riyadh, with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Architecture, Mechanical, or Electrical). The Procurement Engineer will be responsible for the purchasing process, from selecting suppliers to ensuring stock optimization, and will provide guidance on sourcing and procurement processes. They will assist with contract management, contract negotiation, and preparation of purchase orders. Main duties include locating key suppliers, negotiating the company’s purchasing agreements, and ensuring that supplied materials and products meet the company’s specifications.

• Preparation of RFPs and dispatch to contractors or consultant offices, including instructions, general contract conditions, special conditions, review tables of quantities, and any other documents.
• Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
• Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure ongoing feasibility.
• Building and maintaining long‑term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services.
• Overseeing and managing the IT systems that track shipments, inventory, and the supply of goods.
• Reviewing quality of purchased products.
• Preparing procurement reports.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• 5 years of experience in procurement.
• Proven experience managing supply chain operations.
• Experience using supply chain management software and tools, including Oracle and Net Suite.
• In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.
• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards.
