Staff Manufacturing Engineer

Join Lenovo’s Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) as a Staff Manufacturing Engineer and play a key role in shaping the future of server hardware testing. In this role, you will lead process optimization, introduce advanced testing technologies, and ensure top-quality standards for enterprise-level solutions. • Design and optimize assembly process workflows, including the design and validation of related fixtures and tooling; prepare and maintain process documentation.
• Participate in new product trial builds, troubleshoot functional and structural issues during pilot runs, and complete issue reports.
• Respond quickly to and resolve technical problems on the production line, applying root cause analysis and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
• Lead or support continuous improvement projects focused on efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
• Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, and Product Development teams to ensure effective implementation of process requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering; experience in Server/ PC/notebook or consumer electronics assembly is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical assembly tolerance analysis and ability to independently design fixtures.
• Proficient in engineering design software such as CAD and Solid Works.
