If you are a Design Manager with advanced knowledge and skills in building design, you will find a challenging and rewarding career  will work with some of the most demanding customers in the world, collaborate closely with colleagues across the globe, and use 3D design tools to deliver detailed and high quality solutions for our MCF projects. You will manage multidisciplinary project teams consisting of data centre consultants, architects and engineers, and work closely with clients and key stakeholders to achieve optimal results while contributing to our ambition to be the World's leading Datacenter Consultant.

You will also play an active role in improving internal business processes and sharing knowledge within your field.

As a Design Manager MCF/ Data Centres, you are responsible for leading multidisciplinary design assignments and ensuring high quality output across special data centre disciplines including Electrical, Mechanical, Architectural, Structural, Civil, Fire, Security, Controls, and Telecoms. You manage the full design process, guide teams across borders, ensure alignment with client requirements and industry standards, and drive innovation throughout the project lifecycle.

• Manage the design process, quality and budget for multidisciplinary teams of 40 to 60 employees;
• Create and manage the design delivery schedule and distribute workload within the team;
• Lead and challenge multidisciplinary design solutions and changes;
• Work closely with clients and lead engineers to ensure vital design solutions comply with requirements, local codes and industry standards;
• Coordinate and optimise design with multidisciplinary teams and external parties, and communicate innovative ideas and designs to clients and colleagues.

As our new Design Manager (MCF/ Data Centres) you will become part of the team Mission Critical Facilities. Our global Mission Critical Facilities (MCF) team provides a multidisciplinary package of consultancy services for our data centre clients. We provide strategic, tactical, and operational advice to our clients, including colocation data centres, internet service providers, and telecom companies. Our team consists of colleagues with all kinds of different expertise.

For example, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, construction, civil, structure, building, architecture, fire safety, control engineering, and security technology. Together we use our knowledge and expertise to develop integrated designs for Data Centres.
