Responsibilities

  • Assure continuous compliance with HSE rules.
  • Lead and oversee all decontamination operations involving hazardous materials such as NORM, hydrocarbons, and other industrial contaminants.
  • Develop comprehensive decontamination strategies, including risk assessments, method statements, and safety plans tailored to each project.
  • Ensure full compliance with Saudi regulatory bodies (e.g., RC, SFDA, MEWA) and client-specific standards (e.g., ARAMCO GI, SABIC SHEMS).
  • Supervise the setup and operation of specialized decontamination equipment.
  • Coordinate with HSE teams to implement and monitor safety protocols, including confined space entry, PPE usage, and emergency response.
  • Train and mentor decontamination teams on advanced techniques, chemical handling, and waste segregation.
  • Manage hazardous waste disposal in accordance with national environmental regulations and client expectations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation including waste manifests, decontamination reports, and regulatory submissions.
  • Liaise with clients, auditors, and third-party inspectors during project execution and close‑out.
  • Support proposal development and estimation for decontamination scopes.
Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Environmental Engineering, Industrial, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of hands‑on experience in industrial decontamination, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong Knowledge and adherence to HSE regulations.
  • Proven experience managing decontamination projects for major clients within the Gulf Area (or similar scale clients).
  • Strong understanding of Saudi environmental laws and waste management regulations.
  • Proficient in interpreting MSDS, chemical compatibility charts, and environmental risk assessments.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and documentation skills.
  • Skilled in team coordination, client communication, and technical reporting.
  • Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and chemical dosing systems.
  • Willingness to travel and work in remote or high‑risk industrial environments.
  • KSA experience and PMP certification is a plus.
